#1: God's Glory

Lord, our Lord,

how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory in the heavens.

Psalm 8:1

My husband and I celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary this Summer. My young-adult children accompanied us to Las Vegas. This was our first time flying together as a family. My daughter LOVES sitting by the window, because she realizes that she is seeing the beauty of the Lord.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Look for God's glory today!

#2: Power in Praise

Out of the mouth of babies and infants,

you have established strength because of your foes,

to still the enemy and the avenger.

Psalm 8:2

In a child’s simple and innocent wonder lies the truest worship!  Are you God's child? Is Abba your Father? He is inviting you to become His beloved child.

"Childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you.”

Today, instead of arguing, try praising the Lord!

#3: Created 4 Purpose

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,

the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

what is man that you are mindful of him,

and the son of man that you care for him?

Psalm 8:3-4

This question is relevant today. Lord, You created the sun, moon, stars, in all their majesty. I am humbled when I realize that You also created me. Am I as important as the sun? Is my value equal to the moon and the stars?

"Child of God, you were created on purpose, with purpose."

Today, remember your true worth and value. The God of the Universe created YOU!

#4  Abba Father

36 And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Mark 14:36

The two elements of Abba :

"It’s the obedience part that we miss with equating it to just “Daddy.”

Today, OBEY GOD!

#5  Everlasting Father

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

Everlasting Father :

Jesus the Messiah is the only one who can reveal God’s fatherly character to us, for he is one in nature and essence with the Father.

Today, expect Abba Father to finish and perfect the work your earthly father began!
